Walmart just sent me two emails. One was to confirm changes to my account (such as email), and the other was to advise me that my recent purchase of a straight speak unlimited card which was supposed to be issued by email could not be completed due to a credit card processing problem. Just got a new card because my info at Acme was hacked. When they went through PayPal, I was able to get their email address.
i noticed a $12.95 charge on my card, listed as for groceries, entered by the customer/merchant.... and now it’s showing charge from Walmart.com 800-966-6546 AR....my bank returnt my payment and i removed my card from profile.... Foolishness...
I got scammed from a fraud where someone used my details to make a walmart pament. The transaction appeared as 800 966 6546 on my details. Walmart allowed this transaction even though the adress and details didn’t match mine. Shame on Walmart for not having mechanisms to catch potential frauds. Big mistake for such a big company. Even some smaller shops have protection systems like this. I will never buy anything from Wallmart again...
