Hertz Rac Firefly is the charge for Hertz’ new low budget rental car service Firefly.
Adminstration fee by Hertz. If a rental car is involved in a traffic violation, like a speed limit violation, HERTZ RAC charges you first. Because police contacts them for the details and necessary legal actions, so they place a fee to process these. If you see this charge, you might expect to recieve a speed ticket soon.
They attempted a charge for more than $1k, such madness, they thought I wouldn’t recognize a dumb scam attempt like this? My AMX blocked the charge thankfully
$145 charge on my American Express cc from Hertz RAC FIREFLY OKLAHOMA CITY OK, I haven’t ever been to OK and I can’t even cancel this charge because it’s on pending currently. What do I do?
HERTZ RAC FIREFLY OKLAHOMA CITY charged me for $100 which worried me because I didn’t buy anything for 100 dollars. But it turns out, this was the gas station hold for my car. I didn’t know some stations still did this method, they charge your CC for $100 while they process your original charge for gas. It’s a legit charge.
I had a similar charge from Hert Rac, it did not even wait in the pending state, it just went throught. And they charged me in a pretty old card that didn’t have much money for a really small amount. I suspect they were planning something bigger so just checking the card.
