They used my credit card for $1.00, are they planning to check my account and then scam charge me for more?
They are www.getaroom.com, the charges appear as CCI*GETAROOM.COM and it’s a legal online booking payment.
Had to cancel my credit card because of this charge.
Booked a room with Bookings.com in Tallahassee, FL. When I checked my cc statement I found that I was charged $216.15 from CCI*Hotel Res AND $167.31 from Country Inn and Suites. On and by the way, the room at the Country Inn and Suites was crap. When I tried to cancel my reservation for the return trip was told I had to go back through Bookings.com. Which I did. From reading the comments on this site I totally believe this is a fraudulent charge and a scam! Lesson learned ... NEVER BOOK THROUGH A THIRD PARTY ...
They should shut down this company, the hotel charge was $130.32, they ended up charging me for $180 from CCI-HOTEL-GETAROOM- 8004683578 now I’m trying to dispute the money.

I booked a room at Best Western in Wewoka for $123. The night manager told me the room was $80. I asked about the price difference and he said the it would be refunded into my card. Never happened!
