A charge of $36 appeared on my bank account by AMZN com bill and I am now discussing with my bank to have the charge reversed.

I did not make these purchases, I don’t have an Amazon account, why are they charging me?

Two charges of $42 spread only a few minutes apart. Trying to get in contact with my bank to reverse it. They are definitely fraudulent charges as I didn’t order anything from Amazon at that time.

I detected two Amazon transactions on my bank's debit card. They looked strange because I was just recently started using my card. The two charges were made with the following codes: "AMZN MKTP US AMZN.COM/BILL WA 98109" So I contacted Amazon, and they confirmed that these were NOT transactions to my Amazon account. I had to cancel my card after calling my bank and file a fraud to get my money back. It feels like first transaction was just to check if the card worked and they came back for the second time after that.
